President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep sorrow over the passing of King Harald-V of Norway.

In a post on X, President Asif Ali Zardari extended heartfelt condolences to Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, the Royal Family and the people of Norway.

He paid tribute to King Harald's long and dedicated service to Norway and towards strengthening relations between Pakistan and Norway.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a post on X, also extended heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Norway on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan.

He said as Norway mourns this profound loss, the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and our Norwegian friends.

The Prime Minister said King Harald-V of Norway will be remembered for his lifetime of dedicated service to his nation. He said our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Norway at these difficult times.
