Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the Balochistan Police is being modernized and equipped with advanced digital facilities.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Balochistan Police’s Digital Initiatives in Quetta today, he said that eight new smartphone applications had been introduced to provide citizens with easier access to the police and other law enforcement agencies.

He said that the launch of an application specifically designed for women is a commendable initiative aimed at enhancing their safety in workplaces, on roads and in other public places.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced 50 million rupees for further improvement and expansion of digital initiatives and smartphone applications of the Balochistan Police.
