The Election Commission of Pakistan has disqualified Senator Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary, Mohammad Ahmed Chattha, member of the National Assembly, and Ahmad Khan, Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab.
To this respect, the Election Commission of Pakistan issued notifications in wake of the sentence handed down to them by the Anti-Terrorism Courts in Sargodha and Lahore.
The Anti-Terrorism Court Sargodha had convicted and sentenced Mohammad Ahmed Chattha, Member National Assembly from Constituency No. NA-66 Wazirabad and Ahmad Khan, Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab from Constituency No. PP-87 Mianwali-lll for imprisonment of 10 years.
Similarly, the Anti-Terrorism Court No.lll, Lahore had convicted and sentenced Senator Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary for imprisonment of 10 years.
