
Two hundred personnel of the Federal Constabulary’s Special Diplomatic Protection Unit will receive training in Saudi Arabia.
This was decided during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud, in Mina, Saudi Arabia, today.
It was also agreed that a high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior will soon visit Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Pakistan-Saudi bilateral relations and internal security cooperation.
The two ministers also discussed the latest regional situation. The Saudi Interior Minister praised Pakistan’s positive role in reducing regional tensions.
They exchanged Eid-ul-Adha greetings and conveyed best wishes to each other.
