Sardar Yousuf urges Hajj pilgrims to follow Saudi laws

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has urged Pakistani intending pilgrims to strictly follow Saudi laws during their stay in the holy land.

He was chairing a review meeting on Hajj arrangements in Islamabad today.

The Minister directed the relevant authorities to ensure maximum comfort and facilitation for the intending pilgrims.

 He also instructed Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj to remain vigilant in providing guidance and to ensure immediate redressal of complaints.

The meeting was apprised that over 20,000 government scheme Hujjaj have so far reached Madinah Munawwarah, and all of them have been provided with Nusuk cards.

It was also informed that 11,000 pilgrims have visited Riaz-ul-Jannah.

The meeting was further updated that five dispensaries have been established in Makkah to provide medical assistance to the guests of Allah.

It was said that the supply of medicines from Pakistan has been completed.

Besides, five bus terminals have been designated in Makkah for transportation to the Haram.

Secretary Religious Affairs Abrar Ahmed Mirza, Additional Secretary Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chauhan, and Joint Secretary Hajj Muhammad Bakhsh Sangi attended the meeting.

Chief Coordinator Makkah Dr. Mirza Ali Mehsud, Coordinator Makkah Zulfiqar Khan, and Hajj Directors from Makkah and Madinah also participated via Zoom from Saudi Arabia.
