Director General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic David Muller called on Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik in Islamabad on Monday.
The meeting discussed potential partnerships in energy and mineral resources sectors.
The Minister said Pakistan is interested in benefiting from Czech Republic's expertise in clean coal and carbon capture technologies which are environment friendly.
He said Europe is a big market for Pakistan and partnerships are being promoted to increase trade volume.
David Muller said there are opportunities for cooperation between the Czech Republic and Pakistan in energy and other sectors.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's Vice Minister for Energy Arymbek Kudaibergen also called on Ali Pervaiz Malik.
The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
The Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan was briefed on opportunities for oil and gas exploration.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said Pakistan attaches immense importance to its relations with Kazakhstan.
