In Philippines, the authorities have arrested suspected members of a Sikh separatist group banned in India.

In a statement, the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center Executive Director Alexander K. Ramos said that Military Intelligence Group and Officers from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration arrested three suspected members of the Khalistan Tiger Force in the central city of Iloilo.

The three suspects are all Indian nationals in their 20s. Their presence in Philippines is evident that the demands for an independent Sikh homeland are rising abroad.
