In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the funeral prayer of Major Muhammad Awais Shaheed was offered in Miran Shah.

According to the ISPR, Major Awais was martyred while courageously combating terrorists in North Waziristan yesterday.

Senior officers and soldiers from Pakistan Army, along with a large number of local elders participated in the funeral prayer.

The ISPR said that country's security forces remain resolute to eradicate terrorism, and the sacrifices of martyrs like Major Awais Shaheed only strengthen their determination.
