Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi says the provincial government is taking practical steps for protection of wildlife and promotion of fish farming in the province.

Talking to the Chairman of Taskforce for Forest and Wildlife, Badar Munir in Lahore on Sunday, he ordered the authorities concerned to present a comprehensive plan for farming of trout fish.

In order to prevent the illegal hunting of wildlife, the Chief Minister directed the relevant authorities to digitalize the hunting licence pertaining to fisheries and wildlife.
