In Balochistan, significant steps are being taken to improve healthcare infrastructure and access to quality medical services under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative. 

During the financial year 2025-26, two hundred and fifty-one projects were fully completed at a cost of 1.803 billion rupees under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative program.

Similarly, during the fiscal 2026-27, work is underway on one hundred and thirty-six development projects costing 1.2756 billion rupees across forty-one districts of Balochistan.

The Balochistan Special Development Initiative program aims to improve healthcare infrastructure, enhance the quality of medical services for common people.
