Polling for the by-election in NA-168 Bahawalpur-5 constituency is underway.

According to the spokesperson of the Election Commission of Pakistan, candidates from various parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, independent candidates and others are contesting the election.

The total number of registered voters in the constituency is over 483,000, while 292 polling stations have been established for voting.

The District Administration Bahawalpur and police department have ensured foolproof security arrangements.
