Minister of State and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority Bilal Bin Saqib has said that Pakistan is playing a significant global role in promoting digital finance.

He was addressing a side event on social business, youth and technology at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Bilal Bin Saqib said the Global South must become an integral part of decision-making in the technology sector, rather than remaining merely a consumer.
