The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the people to raise their voices in unity against political injustice, Indian state terrorism and its Hindutva designs in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said the Hindutva BJP regime, its forces and masters in New Delhi have silenced political voices, curbed media, attached properties and prolonged illegal detention of political prisoners.

He said the Indian Army, State Investigation Agency and National Investigation Agency along with paramilitary and police are raiding houses in every town and village, terrorizing inmates and seizing documents.

The APHC appealed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to press India to release detainees and resolve the Kashmir issue as per Security Council resolutions. 

Meanwhile, Indian forces have further intensified cordon and search operations across the occupied territory, with the Indian Army Chief and Police Chief separately holding meetings to monitor operations in Kashmir Valley and Jammu region.

In another development, daily wagers have announced plans to lay siege to the IIOJK Assembly tomorrow to press for regularisation of nearly sixty-one thousand daily wagers.

The announcement was made by Daily Wagers Forum President Sajad Ahmad Parray during a news conference in Srinagar.
