Eleven terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan were killed by security forces during intelligence based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

In Bannu, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Khawarij, killing two terrorists and recovering weapons and ammunition.

In the Ladha area of South Waziristan, security forces killed five Khawarij terrorists.

According to security sources, four terrorists were killed by security forces in Sasool area of Khuzdar district. Security forces effectively targeted Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists with the assistance of quadcopter.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for successful operation against terrorists in district Bannu.

In their separate statements, they expressed the resolve to root-out terrorism from the country.

The President, in his statement, said eliminating foreign-backed terrorist elements including Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij is imperative for national security and lasting peace.

He said the nation is proud of the professional capabilities and achievements of the security forces and law enforcement agencies.

In his statement, the Prime Minister appreciated the security forces for killing eleven terrorists during the operation.

He said the entire nation stands by the security forces in the fight against terrorism.
