Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the Ration Card Program for the current fiscal year.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she said that the number of registered workers will be further increased.

The meeting was informed that over 1.2 million registered workers have already received financial assistance worth twenty-eight billion rupees.

She also announced that the government would provide further assistance worth 43.2 billion rupees during the current fiscal year.
