United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Housing Balakrishnan Rajagopal has called for action against Israel following its latest attack on displaced Palestinians in Rafah.                              

In a message on his X handle, he said attacking women and children in shelters in Rafah is a monstrous atrocity.

The UN rapporteur underscored the need for concerted global action to stop Israel’s actions.
