European Union and Norway have called on international partners to increase their financial assistance to Palestine.

The call was made at the conclusion of a joint ministerial meeting in Brussels, of EU, Norway, United Nations, IMF, UK, USA, Australia, Saudi Arabia and other western and Middle Eastern countries.

European Union hosted the meeting while Norway was the chair.

The international partners reaffirmed their support to the Palestinian Authority and emphasized its enhanced political and economic partnership with international partners.

They also called for joint action to strengthen the Palestinian institutions for implementation of the two-state solution.
