Finance Minister Miftah Ismail says the government is striving to promote business activities and facilitate the business community to attain sustainable growth in the country.

Talking to Chairman Pakistan Sugar Mills Association Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf in Islamabad, he stressed for maintaining the strategic reserves of sugar and regulation of the sugar prices in the country to avoid its price hike.

The Finance Minister said the government is aware of the problems faced by sugar industry and is keen to resolve these problems at the earliest.
