Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan offers lucrative investment opportunities in diverse fields.

He was talking to a delegation of World Liberty Financial led by its Co-Chairman Zach Witkoff, which called on him in Islamabad on Sunday.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan is one of the fastest-growing crypto currency adoption economies in the world. He said the talented youth of the country can play an important role in promoting crypto currency in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister informed the delegation that work is rapidly underway to formulate rules and regulations to promote alternative methods of economic transactions such as crypto currency in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Zach Witkoff said Pakistan is one of the world's fastest growing economies having attractive investment opportunities for global investors in natural resources sector.

He acknowledged that Pakistan has the potential to join the ranks of leading countries not only in this region, but also in the world.

Zach Witkoff also appreciated Pakistan's key role in establishing peace in the region and international level.

The delegation also showed its interest for investment to promote crypto currency sector in Pakistan.

Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and other authorities concerned were also present in the meeting.
