Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said Pakistan will stand by Saudi Arabia if there is any aggression against it.

Talking to the media persons in New York, he alluded to the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement.

The Defense Minister said Pakistan is continuing its efforts for peace in the Middle East. He said Qatar is also playing its role in this regard.

He emphasized that Pakistan's image has improved significantly in the world as a result of its mediation.
