Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the establishment of several new hospitals and specialized medical institutions across the province.

She approved the projects while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.

The approval includes the establishment of Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Mianwali, Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, and a 268-bed Nawaz Sharif-Maryam Nawaz Institute of Cardiology in Gujranwala.
