Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says Youm-e-Ashur was observed across Pakistan with devotion, patience, and harmony.

In a post on X, he said that as the Day of Ashura draws to a close, we pay our deepest respects to the eternal sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) and the martyrs of Karbala.

He said their unwavering stand for truth, justice, and human dignity remains a timeless source of inspiration.

Shehbaz Sharif prayed that the spirit of Karbala may continue to guide us towards unity, compassion, and righteousness.
