Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has invited Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to partner in development projects across the province.

She extended the invitation during her meeting with Chief Investment Officer of AIIB, Konstantin Limitovskiy, who along with a delegation called on her in Lahore today.

The Chief Minister briefed the delegation on Punjab government’s ongoing development initiatives.

She said that under the provincial government’s “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” programme, more than 100,000 houses have been completed within one year.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif appreciated the AIIB’s cooperation in strengthening Lahore’s water supply and sanitation infrastructure.
