First ODI between Pakistan, Australia to be played in Rawalpindi on Saturday

The first One-Day International of the three-match series between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

Pakistan Cricket Head Coach, Mike Hesson, has praised the players’ fitness, discipline, and hard work in training sessions, saying there is a positive environment within the squad.

Speaking to the media at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, he said the upcoming ODI series against Australia is of great significance for the national team, and the team management is focused on building a balanced and strong combination ahead of the next World Cup.

He added that the series against a strong side like Australia would provide an excellent opportunity for players to further sharpen their skills.

The second and third matches will be played in Lahore.
