Russia has formally started deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
The plan for the nuclear deployment was announced by President Putin in an interview with state television.
The Russia Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart in Minsk said the collective West is essentially waging an undeclared war against our countries.
The warheads were already on the move in Belarus outside Russia since the 1991.
The US State Department has denounced the deployment plan, but said Washington has no intention of altering its position on strategic nuclear weapons.
