Russia has warned of the eruption of third world war if the Ukraine conflict escalates.

Speaking to Russian media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov criticised Kyiv's approach to exploit peace talks, saying the risk of a World War III is 'serious.

He warned the West not to underestimate the elevated risks of nuclear conflict over Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia is just trying to scare the world off supporting Ukraine.
