Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized that climate commitments must translate into tangible results for communities.

He was speaking at the high-level event on the Climate Implementation Bridge (BRIDGE) in New York.

The Finance Minister identified three requirements for effective implementation, including a sound policy framework, access to finance and capacity to deliver projects at the country level.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s progress on climate policy and its efforts to mobilize financing through domestic resources, international financial institutions, capital markets and climate funds.
