
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed police to intensify efforts to control crime and ensure protection of the lives and property of citizens.
Chairing a high-level meeting on law and order in Lahore today, she announced decisive action against corruption and directed District Police Officers in high-crime districts would be held accountable for their performance.
The Chief Minister directed the authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan for complete control of crimes against women and children and ensure strict implementation of the zero-tolerance policy.
