Pakistan, US agree to enhance cooperation in combating organized crime, drug trafficking

United States Charge D'affaires Natalie Baker called on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad today.

The two sides discussed the overall situation in the region and matters related to peace and stability.

They also discussed Pakistan-US bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance collaboration in various fields.

The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in combating organized crime, drug trafficking and human smuggling.

The US Charge D'affaires appreciated the positive diplomatic role played by Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in promoting peace and stability in the region.
