Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has arrived in China on a four-day official visit.

High-level office holders and diplomatic officials warmly welcomed her at Urumqi International Airport.

On the first day of her visit, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz held important meetings, including one with a high-level delegation led by Xinjiang Party Secretary Chen Xiaojiang and Deputy Party Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee He Zhongyou.

During these meetings, both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various sectors, including agriculture, irrigation and livestock.
