Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar says Pakistan has emerged as peacemaker in the world after successful mediation between Iran and the United States.

Speaking to media in Lahore today, he said Pakistan was the first country which condemned attack on Iran and we made practical efforts to bring an end to this war.

The Deputy Prime Minister said entire nation is grateful for the respect which Pakistan has earned during the mediation process.

He said Pakistan ensured peace and stability in the region by initiating mediation efforts.

Ishaq Dar said the Prime Minister has taken steps to correct wrong economic decisions of former government and now the country has been put on trajectory of development.

He said Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power and now we will make the country economic power.
