All Parties Hurriyat Conference says Modi regime is using sham polls to perpetuate its military occupation and legitimize its illegal actions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, APHC Spokesperson Abdul Rashid Minhas said Narendra Modi-led Indian government is holding parliamentary polls to mislead the world about the prevailing dire situation in held territory.

He pointed out that the people of IIOJK have endured immense suffering under Indian military rule for over seven decades, facing relentless oppression and bloodshed.

He maintained the Kashmiris are not struggling for elections, but for attaining freedom from Indian yoke and they will not rest till achieving the sacred goal.

Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti staged a sit-in protest in the Bijbehara area of Islamabad district against the detention of her party workers and polling agents by police. 

On this occasion, she said the elections are being rigged and all senior officials, including the Lieutenant Governor and Director General of Police, are involved in the evil practice.

Indian troops also arrested two youth named Mohammad Saleem and Mohammad Yaqoob, during house raids in the Bhaderwah area of Doda district.
