Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema says the Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Scheme is progressing successfully across the country.

He was chairing a meeting to review the implementation of the Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Scheme in Islamabad today.

Ahad Cheema called for the registration-related issues faced by rickshaws and loaders to be addressed promptly.

He said eligible owners should not be left out of the relief effort and asked the Pakistan Digital Authority to include vehicle registration and token payment complaints in a dedicated complaint portal, to be made operational at the earliest.

Speaking on the occasion, Attaullah Tarar said all possible steps are being taken to inform citizens about the scheme.

It was informed that more than five million people have registered under the scheme and fuel tokens are being generated successfully. Registration-related and other issues at most petrol pumps have also been resolved.
