APHC leadership urges Int’l community to resolve Kashmir dispute

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership has called upon the international community to uphold its commitments regarding right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

APHC Chairman Masarat Aalam Butt who is detained in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail in a message released in Srinagar urged the United Nations to send a clear message to the Modi-led occupation regime to halt its illegal actions, aimed at changing the demography, culture and identity of Jammu and Kashmir.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt while categorically stating that people of Jammu and Kashmir would never submit to Indian fascism reiterated the resolve to continue the struggle till the UN-pledged right to self-determination is achieved.

Other Hurriyat leaders, including Muhammad Aaqib, Narender Singh Khalsa, Fareeda Behanji Malik Noor, Muhammad Fiyaz, Maulana Musaib Nadvi and Qazi Asrar in their separate statements in Srinagar demanded the release of all political detainees languishing in different Indian jails.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities have suspended the passport of senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi. Agha Moosvi has confirmed to the media that he had applied for a passport to visit abroad, but he has been informed that his passport has been suspended.

On the other hand, Village Defence Guard identified as Babu Ram committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at his residence in Latti tehsil of Udhampur district.
