
Polling for seven reserved seats of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is being held today.
The polling will be held at the Legislative Assembly Hall from eleven in the morning to one in the afternoon.
Abdul Rehman of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has already been declared elected unopposed on the Overseas Kashmiri reserved seat.
Four candidates of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and three of the Pakistan Peoples Party are contesting the five women’s reserved seats.
Barrister Iftikhar Gilani of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali of the Pakistan Peoples Party are contesting the technocrat seat.
Similarly, Pir Mazhar Ali Shah of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Hafiz Tariq Mehmood of the Pakistan Peoples Party are contesting the Ulema and Mashaikh seat.
