MoRA sets up vibrant complaint mechanism to assist Hajj pilgrims

Ministry of Religious Affairs has established a comprehensive mechanism to resolve pilgrims' complaints in 24 hours.

This was stated by Deputy Coordinator for Complaints, Monitoring and Vigilance Ubaidullah Zakria during an interview with Radio Pakistan's Special Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema in Makkah today.

He said a dedicated Call Center is working round the clock in Makkah to address complaints of intending pilgrims.

Sharing details, the Deputy Coordinator said out of total 1,324 complaints received till now, 722 have been resolved while 204 were found to be invalid. 30 complaints were referred to the Ministry.

To a question, he said about 70 calls are received daily and this number will go up on the arrival of more Hujjaj. He said most of the complaints are related to transport.

Ubaidullah Zakria urged the Guests of Allah to lodge their complaints or queries through designated WhatsApp numbers (+923700037425, +923700037427), toll-free numbers (8002450028, 8002450029) and the Pak Hajj app.

Highlighting a feedback mechanism, he said complaint cell teams visit different buildings to collect direct feedback from the pilgrims for further improvement.
