The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah city of besieged Gaza enclave.

The court in its ruling on the petition submitted by South Africa said the humanitarian situation in Gaza is disastrous.

Today’s ruling is part of a much bigger case brought by South Africa accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
