In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Tangdhar area of the district.
The troops also arrested an innocent youth during searches in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
A report released by Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of 'International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and Dignity of Victims', today, said that human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have witnessed an alarming increase since August 2019.
It said Indian forces are involved in arbitrary arrest, torture and killing of Kashmiris on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, in a statement in Srinagar, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman said that India is trying to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle through military might but would never succeed in its nefarious designs.
He appealed to the international community to impress upon India to stop its brutalities in the occupied territory and resolve the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
On the other hand, the occupation authorities have issued an order prohibiting the government employees to discuss or criticize on social media, any policy or act of the administration.
