
A high-level delegation of the National Council for Tibb (NTC) visited office of the Punjab Healthcare Commission in Lahore.
The participants of the meeting discussed various aspects of healthcare service delivery, ambit of the PHC working, patient safety, services at the healthcare establishments and improving healthcare service delivery in the province.
While briefing Chief Operating Officer of the Punjab Healthcare Commission, Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan said that the PHC had registered more than 55,000 and licensed over 36,000 to healthcare establishment.
He said that the Commission has trained over 22,000 health professionals of more than 18,500 HCEs to implement the Standards.
