750 teachers to be regularized in grade 11 in first phase: CM GB

Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA) in a unanimous resolution demanded to the GB Council for amendments in Income Tax adaptation Act 2012 and setting up of a joint committee of Legislative Assembly and GB Council members to address tax matter.

The resolution was tabled in the House by Parliamentary Secretary Aurangzeb Khan.

The Speaker directed to the Chief Minister for constituting a committee in this regard.

In another resolution the House demanded free trade agreement between Gilgit-Baltistan and Xinjiang Province and demanded to make CPEC route all weather. It was presented by Imran Nadeem.

During the question Hours Chief Minister responded questions of members.

He said reforms are being introduced in Works department to enhance its capacity and overcome shortage of employees.

Replying to a question teacher of Social Action program schools Hafeez-ur-Rehman said a separate wing for them is being set up in education department and seven hundred and fifty teachers would be regularized in grade 11 in first phase.

Chief Minister asked the cabinet members to ensure immediate response of the questions of members of the Assembly.

In the proceeding cabinet members Muhammad Akbar Taban Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai and Iqbal Hassan also responded questions.

Later, Speaker prorogued the session till indefinite time.
