President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the earthquake in China’s Xizang Autonomous Region.

In their separate posts on their respective X handles, they extended heartfelt condolences to President Xi Jinping, the bereaved families and the people of China.

The President reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with China and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan stands in solidarity with its Chinese brothers and sisters in this difficult time and is ready to extend every possible support.
