Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Federal Government's commitment to extending all possible cooperation to accelerate development and improve the living standards of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He was talking to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Prime Minister congratulated Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan on assuming the office of President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and extended his best wishes.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the Kashmiri people's just struggle for the right to self-determination.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmiri people until they are granted the right to decide their future through a free and impartial plebiscite in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

The Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan will continue its moral, diplomatic and political support for the Kashmiri people until they achieve their legitimate rights.
