Minister for Railways Shahid Ashraf Tarar has said there are immense opportunities for French investment in Pakistan.

He was talking to French Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolas Galey in Islamabad.

The Minister said Pakistan Railways is working to build a route from Kohat to Kharlachi to connect with Afghanistan. Similarly, he said Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6 is an excellent investment opportunity for the French.

He said Pakistan National Shipping Corporation is also expanding its operation and there are investment opportunities.

The French Ambassador said there is a long history of Pakistan-France relationship and cooperation. He said the French investors have shown interest in Pakistani projects.

He assured they will further woo their investors and a huge investment will be brought to Pakistan.
