President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for the successful operations against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in Quetta and Kech districts of Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they paid rich tribute to Subedar Muhammad Jamil Shaheed for rendering the supreme sacrifice in defence of the motherland.

The President, in his statement, said the killing of terrorists operating under Indian patronage reflects the professional capabilities of the security forces.

Paying tribute to Subedar Muhammad Jamil Shaheed, the President said his sacrifice is a symbol of the security forces' unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and protecting the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, said the elimination of these foreign-backed terrorists demonstrates the effective strategy of the security forces.  He said operations by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.

He expressed the resolve that foreign-sponsored terrorism will be eliminated at all costs.

Shehbaz Sharif said the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave security forces and law enforcement agencies in the war against terrorism. He also expressed condolences and solidarity with the family of Subedar Muhammad Jamil Shaheed.

The Prime Minister said Subedar Muhammad Jamil's sacrifice is a matter of immense pride for the whole nation.
