Deputy Inspector General Police Ali Waseem has said the Islamabad Police is pursuing a zero-tolerance policy on violence against women and children.

He was listening to citizens' complaints and problems at an open court at his office in Islamabad today.

Ali Waseem said citizens can approach his open court without hesitation or any recommendation and directly present their issues to police officers.

He said protection of citizens' lives, property and dignity remains paramount.

Citizens can also register their complaints and issues through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715.
