Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed all relevant departments to utilize all available resources to tackle urban flooding, hill torrents and other flood-related emergencies during the ongoing monsoon season.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she directed the authorities to ensure prompt action on complaints received through the WASA helpline and maintain a comprehensive record of their resolution.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the authorities to strictly enforce a ban on bathing in rivers, dams and barrages and ordered drone monitoring to prevent incidents.
