President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the firing incident near Mastung in which Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar and Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari were attacked.

In their separate messages, they expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Session Judge Abdul Hakim Kakar and his gunman in the incident.

They prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the departed souls and extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif also prayed for the speedy recovery of Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and others who were injured in the attack.

The President said the sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain. He said Pakistan will continue its fight until the scourge of terrorism is completely eradicated.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms from the country.
