World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF) has appealed to the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights to intervene and help release Kashmiri civil society leaders from prisons across Indian jails.

Speaking at a protest in Washington, the leaders of the Washington-based advocacy group strongly condemned the illegal retention of the Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders.

The Forum also launched a campaign through digital advertising trucks highlighting Indian brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
