Acting President Syed Yusouf Raza Gillani has said that President Asif Ali Zardari always encouraged friendly countries including China to invest in Pakistan.

Talking to a delegation of businessmen and industrialists in Multan today, he said that the role of businessmen is most important in the country's economic development.

He said that the federal government should take special care of the interests of businessmen in the upcoming budget.
