In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, intensified restrictions in the name of security ahead of India's Republic Day on Friday, have aggravated the miseries of the Kashmiri people.

The massive deployment of Indian forces personnel has increased arrests, cordon and search operations, house raids, and frequent identity checks thus escalating the already tense environment of harassment in the territory.

The Kashmiri youth are being summoned to police stations on daily basis without any reason just to prevent the people from marking India's Republic Day as Black Day.

Meanwhile, incidents of abduction and custodial killing of Kashmiri youth have also increased in the territory.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference says India has no right to call itself a democracy after it illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in 1947 and later revoked its special status in violation of all international laws.
